In 2018, the idea of the Sweet Nothings Radio started from Yurimagination’s love of R&B & Soul music. It was created as a way to reach like-minded people who appreciate the genre in a similar way. It was inspired by the “quiet storm” radio format which pulls from smooth and romantic contemporary R&B. Sweet Nothings Radio is Yurimagination’s spin on the format which implements his personal taste of the genre in order to shine light on gems of the past to feel nostalgic, newer gems to discover upcoming artists, and everything in between. The mix series is meant to feel like what someone would put on driving home on a Sunday night.
